n We’ve recently welcomed some excellent new people to the team, and now we’re looking for a few more.

n

We’re looking forPen Riders/Livestock People to join a well-run feedlot near Dalby. Previous feedlot experience is fantastic, but it’s not essential. If you’re confident around livestock, have the right attitude, a strong work ethic and work well as part of a team, they’re willing to train you.

n

This is a good opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with cattle and wants to build their skills within a supportive feedlot team.

The Role

n

n
- Pen riding, livestock movements, drafting, induction, processing and hospital treatments
n
- Monitor cattle health, identify issues early and administer treatments
n
- Maintain accurate records using feedlot systems
n
- Work within company procedures and protocols
n
- Handle cattle using low-stress stock handling principles
n
- Work safely and in line with WHS requirements
n

What They’re Looking For

- Good livestock handling skills and confidence around cattle
n
- A great attitude and someone who takes pride in their work
n
- A genuine team player who works well with others
n
- Willingness to learn, listen and take direction
n
- Reliable, consistent and prepared to get in and do the job properly
n

n

Horses

n

n
- Ideally, you’ll have 2 suitable horses
n
- Don’t have your own horses? Plant horses are available
n
- Horse and tack allowance provided
n
- Feed and farrier services provided
n

n
