Based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, SW Johnson Electrical Pty Ltd is on the lookout for an experienced electrician to join our growing team where no two days are the same.

With a tight knit team of 6 Australian qualified electricians and 1 apprentice carrying out a wide range of electrical works we pride ourselves on exceptional communication and workmanship.
What we do:
- Commercial service and maintenance work in shopping centres throughout Sydney. Consisting of both preventative and reactive maintenance, Board replacements and upgrades
- Strata / real estate service and maintenance throughout the Eastern Suburbs and lower North Shore areas
- Mid to high end residential new builds and renovations

What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Highly organised and Qualified NSW Electrician who can work independently and lead other workmates on jobs
- Trustworthy with exceptional communication skills when dealing with both clients and co-workers
- Must be able to know how to wire a house with a sound knowledge of AS3000 wiring rules.
- Must be able to wire residential switchboards from start to finish
- Experience in general electrical and/or maintenance electrical work.
- High level fault finding skills
- Ability to work independently and lead co-workers and apprentices
- Skilled presentation
- Willingness to work overtime if required (generally not more than an hour per day when required). Satudays are available occasionally (maybe once per month at most) but not required.
- Willingness to do after hours callouts (generous pay rate)
- Must be able to fill in job sheets after every job using a job management system (simpro - training provided). This includes photos of the completed works
- Ideally able to drive a manual fully stocked Hyundai Iload company car
- Located within 20mins of the eastern suburbs
Qualifications:
- Australian Electrical Licence
- Current Driver’s Licence (manual preferred)
- Industry White Card
- Working with Heights and EWP (advantageous but not essential)
