About the Role n

As a Casual Food Services Assistant , you'll work alongside our Chef and kitchen team to prepare, serve, and present meals that support the health and wellbeing of our residents.

n

This role requires flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required.

n

You'll be joining a supportive team environment where everyone works together to deliver exceptional service and care.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Support meal preparation, presentation, and service in accordance with residents' dietary requirements
n
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, beverages, and refreshments
n
- Maintain food safety and infection control standards at all times
n
- Assist with cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining areas
n
- Monitor and record food safety requirements, including temperatures and deliveries
n
- Ensure meals are delivered in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner
n




- Report any concerns regarding residents' food or beverage intake to the Registered Nurse in Charge
n
- Work collaboratively with the hospitality and care teams to ensure a positive dining experience for residents
n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Completion of a Food Handling Course (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Current National Police Check and NDIS Worker Check, or willingness to obtain
n
- Previous experience in hospitality, food services, or aged care (desirable)
n
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
n
- A genuine passion for supporting older people
n
