Ryde Family Medical Centre is looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is friendly, and empathetic that can help make our patient's experience a positive one. A permanent part-time or casual role has now become available offering flexible working hours.

Attributes & experience

- General Practice medical receptionist experience required for this role
- High level proficiency in using GP medical software is required
- Proficiency in Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
- Positive interpersonal skills for working with, and relating to, patients and peers
- Must be familiar with Ms Windows, printers, scanners and other equipment
- Good telephone skills, speak clearly and be empathetic to patients.
- Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.

Responsibilities





Work professionally with medical practitioners and other staff in the clinic.

Duties include all aspects of medical reception, liaising with patients, doctors and allied allied health professionals.

Able to follow doctors' instructions and work to required standards.

Accurate record keeping and data entry of patient info, retrieve, update & file computer medical records and results

Warmly greet patients and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
