Teacher - Industrial Skills & Construction

We are calling for applications from suitably qualified teachers who are passionate about teaching Construction and Industrial Skills. Familiarity with Certificate II in Construction, the QCAA syllabus and the Australian National Curriculum is a distinct advantage.

In this role, you will inspire secondary students through engaging, hands-on learning in Industrial Skills and Construction. You will plan and deliver high-quality practical and theoretical learning, maintain a safe and well-managed workshop environment, assess and support student progress, contribute collaboratively to curriculum development, and actively support the Christian ethos and wider life of the College. This is a permanent position starting in January 2027. (Part-Time may also be considered)





To be successful, you will have:

- Demonstrated Teaching experience
- Knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices and assessment strategies appropriate to secondary schooling
- Familiarity with the QCAA syllabuses
- Experience in Certificate II in Construction
- Experience in curriculum development which meets the requirements of the Australian National Curriculum.
- First Aid Certification
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work proactively within a collaborative teaching team
- An active Christian faith
