SASH Alexandria is a purpose-built veterinary referral hospital close to Sydney’s CBD, providing round-the-clock multidisciplinary careto the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and Southern Suburbs of Sydney.
We are expanding our Theatre Team and seeking confident Surgery Nurses to join us in a full-time capacity, across a four-day roster.
Nurses are the heart of team, and this role will see you play a vital role in ensuring that each and every surgical procedure runs as smoothly as possible as well as providing out of theatre support including imaging and sterilisation whilst continuing expert supportive care to our patients.
Who are we looking for?
- ACertificate IV in Veterinary Nursing(or equivalent)
- A minimum of2 years’ full-time experienceas a qualified nurse
- Availability to support rotating weekend roster
- Soundknowledge and experience in anaesthesia, correct terminology, and critical care patients
- Understanding of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and sterile preparation
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skill
