We are currently seeking experienced Senior Project Engineers from a marine construction background to join our company to assist on a newly awarded project in Far North Queensland. This position is fly in fly out, 2:1 roster, preferred point of hire, Brisbane QLD.

You will play a key role in the success of our projects by conducting technical discussion, long-term planning, budgeting, and finances, and liaising with the senior representatives of our clients.

The Opportunity

- Leadprojects from planning to execution, ensuring quality and timely delivery,
- Collaboratewith stakeholders to tackle complex challenges and drive success,
- Work closely with the onsite project team including Project Managers, Project Superintendent, Supervisors and specialist crew,
- Liaise and brief subcontractors on construction plans and delegate responsibilities,




- Review tender documents and preliminary designs for alternative solutions,
- Prepare cash flow budgets and reconciliations,
- Proactively provide input in support of the company in its maintenance of a safe workplace,
- Manage information and conduct appropriate monitoring and reporting duties.

Position requirements:

- Preferably a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar site-based role with experience in delivery of marine piling projects,
- Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering,
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications,
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, and a genuine concern for health, safety and the environment,
- Developed analytical and problem-solving skills while adhering to deadlines,
- Team player mindset with the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships,
- Competent in the use of planning software such as MS Project or P6.
