Role Description

The Store Manager role at Ripe Maternity is a full-time, on-site position based in Indooroopilly, QLD. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, merchandising, and maintaining visual standards that reflect the brand. This role leads and coaches the store team to deliver exceptional customer service, providing personalised styling advice and product knowledge to support customers through pregnancy and nursing. The Store Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets, monitoring store performance, managing staff scheduling, and ensuring adherence to company policies. The role also involves handling customer feedback, coordinating promotions, and fostering a positive,



inclusive, and professional store culture.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles, ideally in fashion, maternity, or lifestyle brands.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide empathetic, respectful, and personalised support to a diverse customer base.
- Competence in sales and merchandising, including managing KPIs, visual merchandising, and stock presentation.
- Solid organisational and time-management abilities, including managing rosters, store operations, and inventory processes.
- Effective leadership and people-management skills, including coaching, performance feedback, and team motivation.
- Comfort with point-of-sale systems and basic retail administration, such as cash handling and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with store teams and head office.
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and peak trading periods.
- Interest in maternity and nursing wear, and a genuine desire to support customers through key life stages.
- Previous experience in Indooroopilly or similar shopping centre environments is an advantage.
