I’m currently recruiting a Senior Associate to join the Melbourne Real Estate team of a leading national Australian law firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property lawyer looking to maintain a broad commercial real estate practice, with exposure to significant development projects and capital transactions.

What will you work on?

The team advises major property developers, investors and corporate clients across:

- Commercial property acquisitions and disposals
- Capital transactions and investment property matters
- Commercial leasing and related property arrangements
- Broader transactional and advisory real estate work

The practice offers a genuine mix of development and capital transactions, rather than requiring lawyers to specialise exclusively in one area.

The prospect

You'll work closely with experienced Partners on a varied portfolio of property matters,



gaining exposure to both the development and investment sides of the market.

For a lawyer who enjoys the commercial aspects of property transactions, this is an opportunity to take on greater responsibility, develop client relationships and continue progressing within an established national practice.

Who they’re looking for

Ideally, you'll have approximately 6–10 years' post-admission experience, with a strong commercial real estate background from a leading top-tier or mid-tier Australian firm.

Experience across both property development and capital transactions will be particularly attractive, alongside strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills.

Australian lawyers currently overseas and considering a return to Melbourne are also encouraged to get in touch.
