About the Role

Build On Services (BOS) is partnering with a leading tier-one construction contractor to source an experienced Nightshift Safety Advisor for a role based in Wagga Wagga, NSW. This role will provide on-site safety leadership and support to night works, with a preference for candidates who have electrical works experience.

Employment Type: Contract with possibility of extension

- Provide proactive HSE advice and support to site teams during night shift operations.
- Conduct site inspections, audits and observations, and ensure corrective actions are closed out.
- Review and monitor SWMS, permits, isolations and critical risk controls.
- Support safe work practices around electrical works, including energised and operational environments.
- Deliver site inductions, pre-start briefings and toolbox talks.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and complete reporting in line with client requirements.
- Coach supervisors and workers to build a positive, safety-first culture.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, project safety plans and client standards.




- Liaise with the day shift HSE team, project management and subcontractors to ensure smooth handovers.

Experience & Qualifications Required

- Proven experience as a Safety Advisor / HSE Advisor on construction projects in Australia.
- Tier-one contractor experience (mandatory).
- Electrical works experience (favoured).
- Experience working night shift and FIFO rosters.
- Relevant WHS qualification (Cert IV in WHS or higher).
- Current White Card, First Aid and relevant safety tickets.
- Current unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- Willing to FIFO to Wagga Wagga on a 2:1 roster.

Full Australian working rights required: Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid Australian work visa with unrestricted work entitlement.
