ThomsonAdsett is hiring a BIM Manager / Senior Architectural Technician in a dual role split between leading technical project delivery and managing the studio's digital/BIM workflows.

Key Responsibilities

As BIM Manager

Digital & AI Roadmap: Develop and maintain the firm's digital technology and AI strategies.

BIM Strategy & Standards: Oversee BIM workflows, update company standards, maintain templates, and manage content libraries.

Team Support: Provide internal Revit training, troubleshooting, and staff upskilling.

Project Delivery: Support concept design, client workshops, design presentations (Adobe, Enscape, Lumion, 3D Max), and Project User Group meetings.

Documentation:



Produce coordinated Revit documentation from design development through to construction packages.

Quality Control: Work with senior staff to maintain design intent and hit delivery deadlines.

What They Are Looking For ("About You")

Qualifications: Degree or recognised certification in architecture or architectural technology.

Technical Skills: 5+ years of Revit experience (solid start-up and modelling skills), deep knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards, plus Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.

Soft Skills: Ability to lead and mentor technical teams, work autonomously, and communicate well with consultants and clients.
