n DSC Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Fitter Machinist for a metal spinning and manufacturing company based in Minto .

n

This is a hands‑on role suited to a skilled tradesperson with strong machining, tooling and mechanical maintenance experience.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Operating manual and CNC lathes
n
- Making, modifying and repairing tooling
n
- Setting up machinery for production
n
- Mechanical maintenance across a range of manufacturing machinery
n
- Fault finding and repairs
n
- Reading and working from drawings and specifications
n
- Supporting production with tooling and machinery requirementsli>
n
- General fitting, machining and workshop duties
n

To be Successful nn
- Trade qualification as a Fitter Machinist or equivalent experience
n




- Strong experience with manual lathes
n
- CNC lathe experience highly desirable
n
- Experience making and repairing tooling
n
- Strong mechanical and problem‑solving skills
n
- Ability to complete machinery set‑ups and adjustments
n
- Maintenance experience across various machinery
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Manufacturing or metalworking experience preferred
n
