Know your way around a crane lift? We're looking for experienced Dogmen to join the Nationwide Crane Hire team!

We're growing and we're on the lookout for skilled, safety-focused Dogmen who know their stuff, take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a solid crew.

With positions available at both our Baringa and Kallangur depots, this is your opportunity to work with an established crane hire company, an impressive fleet and a great variety of lifting projects across Southeast Queensland.

Nationwide Crane Hire is a proudly family-owned and operated business with over 25 years of experience delivering professional crane hire, rigging and transport services.

Our growing fleet includes everything from 13T City Crane to 40T Frannas, All Terrain Cranes up to 250T and Telescopic Crawler Cranes up to 350T, giving our crew the opportunity to work with some seriously impressive machinery.

THE ROLE

As an experienced Dogman, you'll play an important role in delivering safe and efficient lifting operations across a variety of projects.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Working alongside our crane operators and rigging crews to safely execute lifting operations.

Selecting,



inspecting and using appropriate lifting gear and equipment.

Slinging loads and directing crane movements using clear communication and hand signals.

Assisting with crane setup, lift preparation and general site operations.

Following lift plans, SWMS and site-specific safety procedures.

Working across a variety of construction, civil, infrastructure and general crane hire projects.

Maintaining a professional attitude when dealing with clients, site supervisors and fellow crew members.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're not looking for someone fresh out of training. We want experienced Dogmen who can confidently step onto a job site and get to work.

Current DG – Dogging High Risk Work Licence.

Demonstrated experience working as a Dogman in the crane hire or construction industry.

Current HR Driver's Licence.

Construction White Card.

Current driver's licence and reliable transport.

Strong understanding of safe lifting practices, load control and crane operations.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with crane operators and site crews.

A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Flexibility to work additional hours when required.

Highly regarded:

Intermediate Rigging (RI) High Risk Work Licence.





Experience working with Franna, All Terrain and other mobile cranes.

General crane hire experience across a variety of sites and lifting operations.

Working at Heights and Electrical Awareness training.

Experience working on major construction and infrastructure projects.
