Registered or Enrolled Nurse - Theatre Scrub/Scout

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our operating theatre team in a Scrub/Scout role. At our hospital located on Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches

About the role

The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive theatre team, providing safe, high-quality patient care throughout surgical procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

- Working as a Scrub/Scout nurse during surgical procedures
- Preparing and maintaining the operating theatre and sterile field
- Assisting surgeons and the wider theatre team
- Ensuring appropriate instruments, equipment and supplies are available
- Maintaining strict infection prevention and control standards
- Completing accurate clinical and theatre documentation
- Contributing to a safe,



professional and positive theatre setting

About you

- Holds current AHPRA registration as an RN or EN
- Has experience in operating theatre nursing, particularly Scrub/Scout
- Demonstrates excellent clinical and communication skills
- Works well within a multidisciplinary team
- Is reliable, organized and committed to patient safety
- Has a qualified and positive approach to patient care
- Experience in a range of surgical specialties is desirable.
