Senior Accountant (Tax & Business Advisory)

We're looking for a Senior Tax & Business Advisor to join our Business & Tax team at Morrows. You'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering quality accounting and tax services while developing trusted relationships and supporting the growth of junior team members. Key responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, Business Activity Statements and other compliance requirements for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.

Assist with tax research, business advice and identifying practical solutions for clients.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, responding to queries and participating in client meetings.

Manage competing priorities, workflow and deadlines to deliver accurate, timely work.

Review junior team members' work, providing constructive feedback, technical guidance and mentoring.

Collaborate with managers, directors and colleagues across Morrows to deliver a coordinated client experience.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, quality and client outcomes.

About you

A relevant bachelor's degree and completed CA or CPA qualification.

At least four years' experience in a business advisory role.

Strong experience preparing financial statements, tax returns and compliance work for a range of entities.

Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.

Confident written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach.





A collaborative mindset and an interest in mentoring and developing others.

Experience with Xero.
