We are seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team in our South African Restaurant (knowledge on South African Cuisine is not essential). In this role, you will help prepare, cook, and execute our menu items with precision and flair, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen hygiene.

Key responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and plate dishes in accordance with recipes and restaurant standards.

Manage food preparation, station setup, and service delivery efficiently during busy periods.

Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene and HACCP regulations.

Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering when required.

Collaborate closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service operations.

About you

Proven experience working as a Chef or Cook.

Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent hands-on experience.

A strong eye for detail, quality,



and consistency under pressure.

A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.

Availability to work part time hours, including weekends and evenings.
