Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking a Recreation Supervisor to join the Growth and Liveability team for the 2026-2027 season. The position is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Council’s Aquatic Centre and its employees.

- Weekly pay cycle
- Salary range $1266.00 - $1517.58 plus applicable penalty rates
- 2026 - 2027 pool season

The position is responsible for the effective and effective management of the Council’s Aquatic Centre and its employees.

ABOUT YOU

- Supervise Pool patrons
- Provide lifeguard service
- Clean and maintain change rooms, showers and pool grounds
- Check and correct, if needed the pool Chemistry and backwash filters
- Liaise with schools, aqua aerobics, S&R;, disabilities, swim club
- Train and update pool staff to legislative required statutes
- Administer minor First Aid and attend any major accidents which may require ambulance attendance
- Liaise with Council staff to ensure repairs are done if necessary
- Plan and program casual staff roster and activities




- Provide high level of interaction with pool patrons
- Promote and manage onsite WH&S;
