Role Description n

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a renewable energy project in Hervey Bay. This full-time opportunity offers a FIFO arrangement from Brisbane on a 10:4 roster.

Working closely with the project and commercial teams, you will manage contract administration, procurement and cost control throughout project delivery. You will play a key role in managing subcontractor performance, assessing claims and variations, and supporting the project’s commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Prepare, review and administer subcontract and supplier agreements.
n
- Manage procurement, tender assessments and contract negotiations.
n
- Assess progress claims, variations and extension-of-time submissions.
n
- Monitor project costs, commitments and forecasts.
n




- Identify contractual risks and support their resolution.
n
- Maintain accurate commercial records and prepare project reports.
n
- Collaborate with project managers, site teams and subcontractors to support successful delivery.
n

Qualifications and Experience nn
- Demonstrated contract administration experience on Australian construction, infrastructure or energy projects.
n
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, including Australian Standard contract forms.
n
- Experience managing procurement, subcontract packages, claims and variations.
n
- Strong commercial judgement, analytical skills and attention to detail.
n
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, commerce or a related discipline are desirable.
n
- Willingness to work a FIFO 10:4 roster from Brisbane to Hervey Bay.
