BallyCara is looking for Qualified Support Workers to join our Support at Home team, supporting older Australians to remain independent, connected and happy in their own homes.

This is more than a support role. You’ll become a familiar and trusted face in someone’s week — helping them live life on their terms.

- Work locally across multiple suburbs including Brighton, Sandgate, Ferny Grove, Grange, Brighton, Northgate, The Gap and surrounds

- Contracted hours of 9am–12pm, 4–5 days per week – must have availability for Thursday and Friday

- Availability required between 7am till 2pm

What will you be doing? n

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide practical and personal support that helps our clients maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

- Providing personal care and mobility assistance
n
- Preparing meals and providing domestic support
n
- Accompanying clients shopping or on community outings
n
- Providing transport to appointments(with kilometres paid)
n
- Supporting clients to remain socially connected
n
- Encouraging clients to achieve their personal goals
n
- Building positive, respectful relationships with clients and their families
n
- Working closely with the care team to deliver safe, high-quality support
n

It could be helping someone get ready for the day, preparing their favourite meal, taking them shopping or simply having a conversation over a cup of tea.

Is this you? n

We’re looking for people who are compassionate, reliable and genuinely enjoy working with older people.

You’ll need: n

n
- Availability Monday–Friday between 7am-2pm
n
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Community)
n
- Previous experience in community or aged care support
n
- A warm, respectful and relationship-focused approach
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence
n




- A reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
n
- Current First Aid & CPR
n
- National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one through BallyCara
n
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations are highly recommended.
