Mintern Civil is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson for an immediate start. This is a full-time, ongoing position, working 38 hours per week, based in Horsham, Victoria.

Main duties

- Preparing detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections and construction details, from architectural concepts, sketches and project specifications.
- Using computer-aided design software to develop and update drawings, incorporating approved design changes and maintaining accurate drawing records.
- Reviewing site measurements, building requirements and relevant standards to ensure drawings accurately reflect project conditions and design requirements.
- Liaising with architects, project managers, engineers and construction teams to clarify design details, coordinate documentation and resolve drawing discrepancies.

Qualifications and experience





- A relevant Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in Building Design, Architectural Drafting or a closely related discipline.
- At least two years of relevant full-time work experience as an Architectural Draftsperson.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or equivalent architectural drafting software.
- The ability to interpret architectural sketches, specifications and construction documentation.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian building standards and construction practices.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
