We're looking for an experienced and reliable Disability Support Worker to join our established Supported Independent Living (SIL) team in Greenbank.

n

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys providing high-quality, person-centred care to participants with complex physical and health care needs. We already have a fantastic team in place and are looking for another team member who brings a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine commitment to quality care.

Available Shifts

n

We currently have the following regular afternoon shifts available:

n

Monday: 4:00 pm - 7:00 am (fortnightly)

n

Thursday: 4:00 pm - 7:00 am (fortnightly)

n

There are also opportunities for additional shifts and backfill across weekdays and weekends, including sleepovers.

n

We're looking for someone who can commit to the regular roster and ideally has flexibility to pick up additional shifts when required.

n

About the Role

n

You'll provide person-centred support in accordance with individual support plans and clinical guidance, including:

n

Personal care, including toileting, continence support, continence pad changes and personal hygiene

n

Assistance with daily living routines and domestic tasks

n

Manual handling, transfers and the safe use of assistive technology, including hoists and mobility aids

n

Diabetes management and medication support in accordance with individual care plans, training and competencies

n

Monitoring participant wellbeing and communicating any changes or concerns

n





Completing accurate shift notes and required documentation

n

Working collaboratively with the broader team to deliver protected, consistent and compassionate care

n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who is:

n

Experienced in disability support, preferably within SIL or high-care environments

n

Confident and comfortable providing personal care, including continence support

n

Familiar with manual handling, assistive technology, diabetes management and medication support

n

Positive, enthusiastic and brings a great attitude to work

n

Reliable, compassionate and a strong team player

n

Willing to learn, take direction and contribute to a supportive team environment

n

Flexible to assist with additional shifts when available

n

Committed to promoting participant choice, dignity and independence

n

Must be female (participant preference)

n

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)

n

Current First Aid and CPR certification

n

Current Australian Driver Licence

n

Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle

n

Unrestricted rights to work in Australia

n

Willingness to complete participant-specific training and competency assessments as required
