Sales and Account Manager - Transport Rental and Lease

The purpose of this role is to provide existing customers with great service while seeking opportunities to grow our current relationship. In addition, you will be expected to develop new opportunities with potential new customers within your region.

TR Group provides an expertise-based solution rather than a financial one. Relationships with our customers are typically built on a strong sense of trust, a keen understanding of their business and the requirements of their heavy commercial vehicle fleet. Customers who lease from TR usually do so as the result of a values based selling approach where TR's skills, experience and expertise are leveraged to provide the right solution for our clients. As almost every lease vehicle is custom built for the client each enquiry needs to be worked through bringing together all the resources and skills within TR Group.

In the current competitive environment TR endeavours to maintain and grow its returns through this solution and values-based approach that emphasises the core strengths of our business.

Key responsibilities

Manage and grow relationships with an existing customer base, including liaising internally to manage any issues/opportunities that arise in relation to new vehicle requirements, short term rental needs, maintenance and fleet management

Expand client base in a planned and targeted manner, including prospecting an assigned territory for high-quality opportunities

Manage existing customer relationships to drive organic growth

Take personal responsibility for continually learning and growing





Actively visit customers and manage relationships in your assigned region of responsibility, including continually monitoring vehicle performance and annual expenditure of customers in region of responsibility

Travel as required and be available outside of business hours, if need be, should our customers require support

Complete any additional tasks as requested by management, which may include assisting when people are away or working on special projects

About you

A proactive approach

Ability to deal with clients and prospects at all levels of an organisation from decision makers to key influencers

Understanding of both TR's Rental and Lease products

An ability and willingness to work hard

Someone who pays attention to detail and is meticulous

Knowledge and understanding of the relevant industries in our target markets

Knowledge and understanding of heavy commercial vehicles
