The Role

We are seeking professional, polished and service-oriented Security Officers to join the team at a well-established private educational institution.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys a professional, structured environment and takes pride in combining security with exceptional customer service.

This role has a strong concierge-style focus, with you acting as a key point of contact for students, parents, visitors, staff and contractors. You will help maintain a protected, welcoming and well-managed school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage site access, including visitor identification, permits and authorised entry

Welcome and assist visitors, students, staff, and contractors

Conduct regular internal and external patrols

Monitor locks, gates, alarms, CCTV and other security systems





Respond to security incidents, alarms and safety concerns

Assist school personnel and emergency services when required

Maintain accurate logs, access records, and incident reports

Liaise professionally with school staff, contractors and other stakeholders

Follow site security procedures and maintain a high standard of personal presentation

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Able to maintain a professional and approachable appearance

Confident communicating with people of all ages and backgrounds

Customer-focused while maintaining appropriate security boundaries

Reliable, observant, and able to follow process

Requirements of the position

Hold current Victorian Security licence

Hold current working with children check

Current First Aid certificate

Full working rights in Australia
