Salary Package: $110,000 - $120,000 + superannuation, depending on experience

Role Highlights n

This role sits within the Finance team and is responsible for a broad range of accounting, financial reporting, forecasting and reconciliation activities. You will support weekly and monthly reporting, contribute to month-end processes and provide financial analysis to assist with business decision-making. The position offers exposure to operational and commercial finance within a large-scale organisation, utilising Excel, SAGE and internal reporting systems.

Responsibilities n

- Ensure accurate and timely completion of weekly and monthly financial reporting.
n
- Assist with month-end processes, reporting deadlines and general ledger reconciliations.
n
- Investigate and analyse discrepancies, variances, trends and anomalies across financial reports.
n
- Support weekly forecasting activities and provide financial analysis to assist business planning.
n
- Review financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key cost drivers and material variances.
n




- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial support and resolve accounting issues.
n
- Assist with ad-hoc finance, reporting and analysis tasks as required.
n

Candidate Profile nn
- Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant or similar accounting role.
n
- Strong Excel skills, with experience using SAGE or other accounting systems highly regarded.
n
- Experience with financial reporting, general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis.
n
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate financial discrepancies.
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
