Accountant (CPA/CA) – Family-Owned Equipment Business

Access Markets has been around for more than 40 years and is still family-owned. We import, sell, service, hire and rebuild scissor and boom lifts. We have branches in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, and we export overseas.

The Role

This is a current, full-time Accountant role at our Heathwood head office. It's real accounting work, not just data entry. You'll look after the numbers across three divisions (equipment sales, service and rebuilds, and hire) and work directly with the owner on decisions that shape the business.

What You'll Do

- Prepare monthly management accounts and run month-end close
- Report on profit and loss by division and branch, and analyse margins
- Forecast cash flow and help with budgeting
- Handle BAS, GST and tax compliance,



and work with our external accountants
- Account for imports, including landed costs, FX and inventory valuation
- Build reports and find ways to improve our systems and controls

About You

- CPA or CA qualified, or nearly there (we'll support you to finish)
- 3+ years in an accounting role, preferably commercial, industrial or import/export
- Strong MYOB skills (essential) and solid Excel
- You like turning numbers into insight, not just processing them
- You're friendly, practical and enjoy being part of a close team
