Location: Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane QLD (with some travel for community visits)

Position: Casual. 2 to 3 roles available, with clear pathways into part time and full-time for the right people

Pay: $35.50 – $45 per hour inclusive of super (based on experience), plus bonuses

Real-world experience with kids. And if you're a parent, you already know how to handle a four-year-old who doesn't want to sit still.

No two days the same. Whether it's a morning block, afternoon block, or doing a community outreach visit, you're not stuck in one room staring at one wall.

Our new Eight Mile Plains clinic opens next month. This will give you a chance to learn as we grow, learn the ropes, get the proper training and have a great time as the clinic ramps up.

We operate from 8 to 6 most days with some Saturdays (8am – 4pm).

For those on the west side, our Ipswich clinic is opening a little later this year, if that's closer to home.

This is a great role to be first in line for:

Part-time and full-time positions as we expand. Many of our casuals will move into permanent roles within their first 6-12 months.

What you'd actually be doing

Chairside assisting. You'll be working mostly with our paediatric patients, but you'll see adult patients too. Both in clinic, in our dental truck and on community visits.

Helping kids feel safe and comfortable. You love working with children and making dental visits a positive experience.

Sterilisation and infection control. Running the steri, setting up rooms, and clean-downs between patients. This is the part we never compromise on. It's how we keep every patient safe and our standards high. We'll teach you to do it properly, and we expect it done to the standard every single time.

Patient communication. Answering questions from parents, putting nervous kids at ease, keeping things calm and professional.





Helping with admin between sessions: bookings, follow-ups, recalls, the bits that keep a clinic running.

Stock, supplies, and clinic readiness. Keeping the clinic clean, tidy, and stocked, with everything where it needs to be before the next patient walks in.

Some travel. Most work is based at Eight Mile Plains, with occasional days out on community work.

Who we’re looking for

For us your attitude is the number one thing we look for. If you've got dental assisting experience, amazing! But if you don't, we’ll train you.
