We are seeking a Depot/Operations Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on Leadership Role, responsible for supervising the day-to-day warehouse and freight handling operations, ensuring safe, productive and on-time dispatch of freight while leading and developing a high-performing team.
Key responsibilities include:
- You must have OUTBOUND Road/Rail LINEHAUL Experience (essential requirement)
- PM Fleet Control, 10+ vehicles
- Supervise daily depot and transport fleet operations including scheduling, routing, dispatch, and freight movement
- Ensure safe operations and compliance with transport regulations, OHS requirements, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
- Lead, roster, train, coach, and develop drivers, and depot staff
- Maintain Bulk and PUD fleet task allocation to meet or exceed DIFOT targets while managing costs
- Supervise Loading and unloading trucks in the warehouse/depot
- You must be willing to undergo a pre-employment (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to commencement.
