Are you a passionate and experienced chef ready to lead a dynamic kitchen team?

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented Head Chef to join our team at our Club and Function Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong culinary leader who can deliver exceptional food across our club dining operations, weddings, corporate events, special occasions and large-scale functions.

We are looking for someone who combines creativity, excellent organisational skills and commercial kitchen management experience with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding food and service.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and develop the kitchen brigade to deliver consistent, high-quality food.
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including club dining, weddings, conferences, banquets and special events.
- Design and develop appealing menus, function packages, buffets and seasonal specials.
- Manage food costs, budgets, stock control, purchasing and supplier relationships.
- Plan kitchen staffing and rosters to meet daily service and function requirements.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, portion control and service standards are consistently maintained.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Minimise food waste and maximise kitchen efficiency and profitability.
- Work closely with club management,



event coordinators and front-of-house teams to ensure successful functions and memorable guest experiences.

About You

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or experienced Sous Chef in a club, hotel, restaurant or function venue.
- Robust experience in functions, banquets, weddings and high-volume food production.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse kitchen team.
- Excellent menu planning, food costing and stock management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events and service periods.
- Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to quality, consistency, teamwork and customer satisfaction.
- Relevant culinary qualifications and food safety knowledge.
