About the opportunity n

Our client, a fast growing global consumer brand, is seeking a Risk & Compliance Manager to build and run its end to end compliance system. This is not a policy writing role. The focus is on simple, practical processes that teams across the business actually follow, so risk is prevented rather than reacted to.

Key responsibilities n

- Establish transparent global and regional policies, simple workflows and approval processes
n
- Run marketing and brand compliance, including pre-approval of ads, social, email and influencer content and substantiation of claims
n
- Own privacy, data and website compliance, including data access and deletion requests, cookie tracking and accurate privacy policies
n
- Oversee product safety, labelling, testing and traceability across international markets
n
- Build a customer incident system to classify and elevate complaints and risks early
n
- Embed documented HR compliance processes and whistleblower frameworks
n




- Develop the company wide risk register, escalation criteria and reporting to the CEO
n
- Lead monthly compliance reviews, quarterly audits and spot checks, plus ongoing training
n
- Drive delivery of accessibility compliance across web, e-commerce, live chat, SMS and email
n

About you nn
- Proven experience building and embedding compliance frameworks, not just writing policy
n
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role within the retail environment
n
- Strong working knowledge of privacy regulation (GDPR/CCPA style) and web accessibility standards (WCAG)
n
- Risk-aware but commercially minded, able to protect the business without slowing it down
n
- Highly organised and reliable, comfortable operating independently and influencing without authority
n
- Experienced managing external counsel and using AI tools to work efficiently
n
