Job Description

We are seeking 1 motivated all-rounder to assist on an apple farm from October 2026 across properties in Ardmona, VIC. The farm hand position available is full-time and you must be available 5-7 days per week.

You will generally work 5 days a week within a Monday-Sunday rotating roster between 5:00AM to 4:00PM. Hours of work will vary daily, depending on requirements. You will be paid under the Horticultural Award 2020 at the permanent hourly award rate for Level 2 ($26.44 per hour) with an opportunity for overtime when required.

- Planting, harvesting, thinning and packing apples and other vegetables and fruit.
- General crop and irrigation system management.
- Supervision of work crews.
- Operation of tractors and other farm machinery with the necessary training.
- General farm hand duties.

About you Ability to work fast and accurate in an outdoor environment in various weather conditions.

Availability and ability to commit to a permanent ongoing role. Ability to work flexible schedule as rosters will vary, and any restrictions.



Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively to ensure that a high level of safety and production consistency is delivered.

Must be able to deal with competing demands and be able to quickly follow directions and ensure that the best standards of production and efficiency are achieved. Must have a consistent approach to work, be punctual, reliable, with the ability to lead and be considerate of others within the workplace. Communicate about any workplace issues in an appropriate and thoughtful manner.

Be physically fit and self-motivated as you may be on your feet for extended periods and required to perform repetitive manual tasks. Confirmation of full working rights in Australia. Possession of a driver's licence and reliable transport.
