Australia’s First Gluten Free Cannoli Bar! (We’re not your average bakery ;-) )

We’re a quick-paced, flavour-obsessed gluten free cannoli bar and café in Preston, and very soon in Brunswick East Melbourne — and we’re looking for a Pastry Chef who is serious about quality, serious about their team, and ready to create.

About the role:

This is a Pastry Chef position for someone who’s ready to lead a small, high-output kitchen. You’ll take ownership of daily production, bring structure and consistency, and help shape how we grow. We run a compact kitchen — and honestly, what we pump out of it is something we’re incredibly proud of. But we’re expanding, and we need a Pastry Chef who wants to grow with us.

Eat Cannoli is Australia’s first gluten free cannoli bar, based in Preston, Melbourne. We’re passionate about exceptional gluten free baking — from our famous cannoli to our Roundtable Sourdough range. We’re a small, close-knit team doing something genuinely unique in Melbourne’s food scene.

You’ll need:





- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Chef wanting to lean in on their pastry skills.
- Experience in a bakery, café, or food production environment
- The confidence to drive a small team and drive production standards
- The ability to work autonomously and use your initiative
- Full Australian working rights (we’re unable to consider visa sponsorship)
- A genuine passion for quality pastry and baking and doing things properly
- Reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude — always
- Gluten free pastry & baking experience a bonus but not essential
