Whitpro is a locally owned Whitsundays business operating since 2006. We service residential, commercial, body corporate and resort properties across the region.

We currently have a garden maintenance position available and are looking for reliable, hard-working people who enjoy outdoor work, take pride in a tidy finish and want to be part of a busy, supportive team.

Long-term applicants are highly regarded. Eligible visa applicants seeking regional work may also apply.

About the Role

You will work as part of a garden maintenance crew completing scheduled runs across the Whitsundays.

- Mowing, including push mowing and ride-on mowing
- Brushcutting / whipper snipping
- Edging and blowing down paths and driveways
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Garden clean-ups and green waste removal
- Working from daily job sheets and property schedules
- Maintaining tools and equipment
- Delivering neat, consistent, high-quality work
- Working respectfully with your crew, customers and management

This is physical outdoor work in North Queensland conditions. You must be willing to work in heat, humidity and changing weather.

- Can work at a steady pace throughout the day
- Are respectful, practical and team-focused
- Can follow instructions and job sheets
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and crew members
- Are confident using mowers, brushcutters and garden tools
- Care about doing the job properly

Previous garden maintenance or landscaping experience is preferred.

Essential Requirements

- Current driver’s licence
- Experience using brushcutters / whipper snippers highly regarded
- Physically fit and capable of outdoor work
- Reliable transport to work
- Available Monday to Friday
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Hours & Pay

Monday to Friday

7:45am – 4:00pm

Optional Saturday work may be available

Pay rate will depend on experience, reliability and capability.
