Banjo's Bakery Cafe is seeking enthusiastic and friendly Sales Assistants & Kitchen Staff to join our team at our Park Ridge location. What you'll be doing n

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for:

- Welcoming customers and providing friendly, attentive service at the point of sale
n
- Processing transactions accurately and efficiently using the till system
n
- Maintaining a clean, well-organised counter and display areas
n
- Restocking shelves and displays with bakery items, beverages and retail products
n
- Answering customer enquiries about our products and making recommendations
n
- Handling cash and card payments with accuracy and integrity
n

As Kitchen Staff, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Assisting with food preparation under the guidance of experienced kitchen staff
n
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health and safety procedures
n
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and stocked with necessary supplies
n
- Supporting the preparation and packaging of bakery items
n
- Following recipes and preparation instructions accurately
n

What we're looking for nn




- Previous retail or food service experience is advantageous but not essential
n
- A friendly, outgoing personality with genuine passion for customer service
n
- Reliability and the ability to work flexibly, including potential weekend shifts
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
n
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
- Basic numeracy skills and comfort with point-of-sale systems
n
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
n
- Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain one (preferred for kitchen roles)
