We are currently seeking a professional and customer-focused HC Local Pick-Up & Delivery Driver to join our Dandenong operation.

This role services a regular freight run between Dandenong and Warragul, involving multiple pick-ups and deliveries across the south-east metropolitan and West Gippsland regions. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver seeking stable, ongoing work with a reputable employer.

About the Role

Based at our Dandenong Depot, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and delivery of palletised and general freight between Melbourne's south-east and the West Gippsland region.

This role requires a professional approach to customer service,



a commitment to safety and the ability to manage multiple pick-ups and deliveries while maintaining delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily pick-up and delivery runs between Dandenong and Warragul.

Complete multiple customer collections and deliveries throughout the day.

Safely operate HC and HR vehicles in accordance with road transport legislation and company procedures.

Load, unload and secure freight using tailgate equipment and EPJs.

Complete all freight documentation accurately and on time.

Provide professional customer service at all delivery points.

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.

Comply with all Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and workplace safety requirements.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will have:

Current HC or HR Licence.

Minimum 12 months driving experience preferred.

A strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Proven safe driving history.

Experience in multi-drop freight operations highly regarded.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Experience using tailgates and Electric Pallet Jacks (EPJs), or willingness to learn.

Forklift Licence preferred but not essential.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable, professional and well-presented approach.
