RN - Lismore Base - Adult Inpatient Mental Health

Lismore Base Hospital's Mental Health Service in NSW is looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join their Adult Inpatient Mental Health team on a contract basis. This is a 24/7 roster position starting as soon as possible, running until 14 February 2027 (approximately 18 weeks). With five positions available, this is a genuine prospect to make an impact in a busy inpatient mental health setting.

- 24/7 roster across a dedicated adult inpatient mental health unit
- Contract role, approximately 18 weeks, start ASAP
- Five positions available; mental health experience and current Violence Prevention and Management competency required

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience working in mental health nursing,



ideally in an inpatient setting
- Current competency in Violence Prevention and Management (VPM)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility and reliability across a rotating 24/7 roster

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Mental health nursing qualification or post-graduate study in mental health
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
