The Team & Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the multidisciplinary team at the Rosebud campus, working predominantly with a diverse subacute rehabilitation caseload. You’ll support patients with orthopaedic, cardiopulmonary, neurological and general debility presentations to achieve their physical and functional goals through individualised physiotherapy management. You’ll also contribute to clinical supervision and education and provide support to the acute ward when required. Offered as a job-share arrangement, the successful applicant will work Mondays and Wednesdays and partner closely with their job-share colleague to ensure effective communication,



handover and continuity of patient management throughout the week.

Skills & Experience Required

- Current registration with AHPRA (Physiotherapy Board of Australia)
- Ability to competently perform high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and patient management, including thorough and appropriate discharge planning
- Demonstrated experience and competence in physiotherapy assessment and treatment of inpatient rehabilitation clients
- Demonstrated experience in the supervision and education of physiotherapy staff and students
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
- Recent experience in a General Medical ward (desirable)
