Located in the heart of Marrickville, our boutique 49-place long day care service provides quality education and care for children aged 0–6 years. We are currently seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, reliable and caring Certificate III Educator to join our dedicated team. You will play an significant role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing, allowing our children to feel safe, secure and supported.

About the Role

As a Part-time Educator, you will be a floating educator, working across all age groups (0–2, 2–3, and 3–5 years) to provide support wherever required. Day to day, you will be supporting the operation of the centre and contribute to creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children.

Monday and Tuesday availability is required.

Key Responsibilities

Cover staff breaks, programming and administrative time, and assisting within rooms to maintain educator-to-child ratios

Support the creation of a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment for children.

Build positive relationships with children, families, and educators.

Assist with meeting children's daily care routines, including feeding, sleeping, and hygiene needs.

Contribute to maintaining a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for all children.

Support compliance with the National Quality Framework, including the NQS and relevant regulations.

About You

You are passionate about working with children and eager to begin a rewarding career in early childhood education. You bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn,



and a genuine commitment to supporting young children's growth and development.

You must have:

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

Minimum 1 year paid working experience in the Early Childhood sector

A current Working With Children Check

Child Protection Training Certificate

Knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and National Regulations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
