Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join the team at Peninsula Timber & Hardware in Rosebud, Victoria. As a full-time Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their hardware and timber needs.

What you'll be doing

- Delivering outstanding customer service to all customers
- Assisting customers with product selection and providing expert advice
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and well-organised retail space
- Restocking shelves and ensuring product availability
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
- Basic computer skills and a good phone manner are required.

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the hardware or timber industry.




- Robust communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and meet customer needs
- Excellent product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about a wide range of hardware and timber products
- Honest and Reliable.
- Enthusiasm, flexibility and a positive, can-do attitude
