Chemistry Masters – AI Data Trainer About The Role n

We're looking for chemistry experts to help train and improve the next generation of AI models. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs — and your advanced chemistry knowledge is exactly what's needed to push these systems further.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where you'll use your expertise to challenge, evaluate, and refine how AI reasons through complex chemistry problems. No AI background required — just strong subject matter knowledge and sharp analytical thinking.

What You'll Do nn
- Design advanced chemistry problems across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and physical chemistry to rigorously test AI performance
n
- Develop explicit, detailed, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate rigorous scientific reasoning
n
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, logical soundness, and depth of understanding
n
- Collaborate with researchers to refine and improve benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry topics
n
- Provide structured,



high-quality feedback that directly improves AI model outputs

Who You Are nn
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
n
- Strong problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
n
- Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
n
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating quality and accuracy
n
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
n
- No prior AI or machine learning experience required
n

Nice to Have nn
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation frameworks
n
- Familiarity with AI language models or STEM education content development
n
- Background spanning multiple chemistry sub-disciplines
