A key part of Develop's business is the development and production of future facing metals. Develop has successfully achieved commercial production at its Woodlawn Copper-Zinc Project in NSW, achieving and exceeding steady-state throughput rates, while rapidly advancing the Yitirrti (Sulphur Springs) Zinc-Copper Project in WA. In parallel, the Company is progressing its Pioneer Dome Lithium Project in WA towards production.

The second part of Develop's business focuses on the delivery of underground mining services. Develop currently has agreements in place to provide underground mining services to:

- OceanaGold's (TSX: OGC) Waihi North Gold Project; and
n
- Core Lithium's (ASX: CXO) Finniss Lithium Operation.

About the role: n

The role of Senior Legal Counsel will report to the General Counsel and Company Secretary. This role will provide broad in-house legal support across Develop's Australian operations, helping the business navigate commercial, operational and regulatory matters while managing legal risk and supporting effective decision-making.

This is a permanent position based out of Develop's West Leederville Office in Perth, Western Australia.

Your main responsibilities: n

- Provide general legal advice and services across a broad range of areas, including, general commercial and corporate law, procurement and project contracts, commercial disputes and litigation, corporate governance and general day to day legal work
n
- Draft review and negotiate commercial contracts relating to the areas referred to above
n




- Assist in and conduct negotiations with third parties
n
- Assist with major transactions from time to time, supporting the General Counsel
n
- Assist in the identification and management of legal risk to Develop's business through the provision of prompt and practical legal advice
n
- Advise General Managers of key operations in respect of legal issues
n

About you nn
- A law degree and be admitted to legal practice in Western Australia with 5 to 10 years PQE
n
- Demonstrated experience as a practicing commercial lawyer (i.e. private practice or in-house) with exposure to the resources industry
n
- Previous top tier or in-house experience working with mining operations will be viewed favourably
n
- Demonstrated experience in corporate or procurement law will be viewed favourably
n
- Knowledge across a broad range of commercial, operational and regulatory legal matters and an interest in developing expertise across diverse areas of practice
n
- Proven collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills with ability to influence
n
- An ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels within Develop
n
- Must be able to work in fast paced workplace with little oversight
n
- Must be able to be practical and commercial
n
