We have an exciting Associate Solicitor opportunity for you to join our professional, supportive, and friendly firm.
Current admission to practice as a solicitor in any Australian state is required.
Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents with valid work authorisation.
We are looking for someone with 3-5+ years PAE experience in the following areas:
- preparation of Wills (complex and straight forward), Enduring Powers of Attorney, Appointments of Enduring Guardian
- administration of Estates, including obtaining Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration, NCAT applications
- conducting Contested Wills and Estates Litigation including Family Provision Claims, Rectification of Wills and Probate Litigation generally
- A minimum of 3-5+ years active practice experience in contested wills and estates litigation is essential.
- advising on Estate Planning
- a working knowledge of and an understanding of complex testamentary trusts would be an advantage
- developing and consolidating an up to date set of precedents
- ability to use Microsoft products confidently
- working knowledge of LEAP software an advantage
- property law experience and / or family law also an advantage

- solid drafting skills (concise and current)
