Senior Sous Chef - RAFI North Sydney

n Applejack Hospitality is searching for an exceptional Senior Sous Chef to join the award-winning kitchen at RAFI North Sydney.
n Ready to take the next step in your culinary career? Working as the 2IC to the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in leading the kitchen, driving menu innovation and developing a high-performing team in one of Sydney's standout dining destinations.
What You'll Do

- Support the Head Chef with menu development, seasonal specials and execution.
n
- Lead kitchen operations and oversee service as the Head Chef's second-in-command.
n
- Mentor and develop the team, driving consistency and culinary excellence.
n
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and food safety.
n
- Assist with stock control, ordering, food costs and kitchen efficiency.
n

What We're Looking For n

n
- Experience as a Senior Sous Chef or an established Sous Chef ready to step up.
n
- Background in an elevated,



hatted or high-performing restaurant.
n
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop a team.
n
- Excellent technical skills, attention to detail and a passion for quality produce.
n
- A proactive mindset and ambition to progress towards a Head Chef role.
