With a number of key projects commencing in late 2026/early 2027, they are looking for an experienced Estimating Manager to join their SEQ Team in Brisbane.

The Role:

As Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the business' Estimating Team, ensuring the effective operational management of the department across SEQ. This will include leading the associated ECI, tender, bid, and cost planning processes, taking part in post tender interviews and Pre/Post Contract negotiations to secure new work opportunities.

As part of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for streamlining the business' Preconstruction and Estimating systems/processes, while also taking part in the implementation of strategies to secure work with target clients.

Responsibilities include:

- Lead/oversee company's Estimating functions, including ECI, cost planning, bid, and tender processes.




- Ongoing management of department resources, workflow, and systems/processes, ensuring operational efficiency across the department, streamlining and refining where possible.
- Analysis of new work opportunities inline with commercial viability to the business, making recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team.
- Identify key client tender criteria, mitigating any potential risks related to Head Contract, programmes, or methodologies, while maximising profit efficiencies where possible.
- Lead Pre and Post Contract Negotiations, while taking part in strategic front-end client functions to secure work with new and existing clients as part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience leading the relevant Estimating, Tender, Bid, & ECI/Cost Planning processes, specific to construction and development projects valued up to 50mil - commercial, industrial, multi-residential, and health/aged-care projects.
- A deep understanding of the ECI/D&C;, cost planning, and value management processes, as well as commercial risk mitigation strategies - Head Contracts, programmes, methodologies etc.
- Robust network of existing clients and subcontractors across SEQ market.
