Medical Receptionist - Align Orthopaedics + Rehab n

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our busy and growing multi-specialist practice at the Mater in South Brisbane.

This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity to join our friendly reception team and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of our newly refurbished offices. We ideally would like someone to commence the role in early November following the completion of our renovations.

About the Role n

Available on a full-time or part-time basis (minimum four days per week) , this role is ideal for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Working alongside our experienced reception team, you will provide high-quality administrative support to a team of specialists and play an important role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the practice.

Key Responsibilities n

Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Providing comprehensive administrative support to a team of specialists
n
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient records
n




- Coordinating referrals and clinic workflows
n
- Handling patient enquiries via phone, email, and fax
n
- Managing both in-room and off-site clinics
n
- Processing patient accounts (Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, and third-party billing)
n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Secretary
n
- Experience with medical software (Genie highly regarded)
n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
n
- A team-focused attitude and excellent communication skills
n
- The ability to multitask and problem-solve in a busy environment
n
