VACPAC is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented and experienced storeman to manage the warehouse, spare parts inventory, and logistics operations of the business. This role is central to ensuring the smooth flow of goods, parts, and equipment through the store, and provides direct support to technicians and walk-in customers. The successful candidate will take ownership of the Kardex Remstar system, maintain accurate inventory records in Unleashed, and uphold high standards of safety and organisation across all warehouse activities.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the Kardex Remstar system, maintain accurate inventory records in Unleashed, and uphold high standards of safety and organisation across all warehouse activities.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Parts Management

- Maintain meticulous management and control of high-risk, critical spare parts
- Operate and manage the Kardex Remstar parts storage and retrieval system - this is a key focus of the role
- Ensure accurate, timely data entry into Unleashed inventory management software
- Conduct accurate stock control, monitoring, and stock rotation
- Prepare and organise stock for jobs, projects, and dispatch

Procurement & Sales Support





- Generate purchase orders - sourcing and buying parts and materials as required
- Prepare quotes for parts and kits for customers and technicians
- Manage tasks within VACPAC's operational software systems

Warehouse & Logistics

- Receive and dispatch goods, managing the complete process from start to finish
- Palletise, strap, and secure goods for freight
- Operate forklifts, including high-reach trucks and standard forklift trucks
- Perform manual handling and lifting duties as required
- Deliver products to customers via company delivery vehicle
- Carry out general warehouse duties including cleaning and stock preparation

Customer & Team Support

- Provide face-to-face service to walk-in customers
- Support technicians with spare parts and project requirements
- Communicate effectively with clients and end users regarding job organisation and status
- Assist with general office tasks: phone calls, emails, document preparation, and team communication

Reporting & Compliance

- Prepare and submit weekly reports to the Service Manager and Office Manager
- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation across all tasks and processes
- Follow safe work practices at all times,



including JSA (Job Safety Analysis), Take 5, and SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements), with thorough documentation

Key Selection Criteria

- Current forklift licence (LF), with experience operating high-reach and standard forklifts
- Prior experience in a warehouse, store, or parts management role
- Experience with inventory management software (Unleashed experience highly regarded)
- Experience operating automated storage/retrieval systems (Kardex Remstar experience highly regarded)
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and stock control
- Sound understanding of procurement and purchase order processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Physically capable of manual handling, lifting, and warehouse duties
- Current driver's licence, suitable for making customer deliveries
- Commitment to safe work practices and completion of required safety documentation
- Customer-focused approach with confidence in face-to-face interactions
