DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Principal SAP Functional Analyst to join a government client.

n

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Analyst with expertise in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Plant Maintenance (PM) and Project Systems (PS) to join an established team of SAP Functional Analysts and ABAP Developers. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting and enhancing customised SAP ECC6 solutions, including custom SAP UI5 applications. Experience supporting transitions from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilitiesn

n
- Design, configure, test, deploy and support SAP PM and PS functionality.
n
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into transparent functional specifications and SAP solutions.
n
- Provide functional consulting, troubleshooting and ongoing SAP application support.
n
- Recommend process improvements and implement solutions using standard SAP functionality.
n
- Collaborate with SAP Functional Analysts and ABAP Developers to deliver enhancements and resolve issues.
n
- Support customised SAP ECC6 solutions, including custom UI5 applications.
n
- Provide end-user training, guidance and knowledge transfer to the wider support team.
n
- Coordinate support activities, contribute to operational plans and maintain quality support procedures.
n
- Liaise with stakeholders and prepare reports,



briefings and correspondence for senior management.
n

Essential Experiencenn
- Demonstrated experience in SAP functional analysis, consulting or application support.
n
- Experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), Project Systems (PS) and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
n
- Strong business process analysis, requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
n

Desirablenn
- Experience with customised SAP ECC6 solutions and custom SAP UI5 applications.
n
- Experience transitioning from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA.
n
- At least two years of SAP implementation experience, particularly SAP ERP 6.0 (ECC6).
n
- SAP functional certification, relevant professional membership or experience with PRINCE2 project management methodology.
n
