Warehouse Automation Operator – Modula Goods-to-Person System
Love technology? Enjoy working smarter, not harder?
At BrandLink, we're bringing automation into the heart of warehouse operations — and we're looking for experienced warehouse operators who want to be part of it.
If you enjoy working with modern equipment, technology and warehouse systems, and take pride in getting things right the first time, this could be the role for you.
We're looking for reliable, switched-on operators to join our afternoon-shift team, working with our Modula automated Goods-to-Person (GTP) picking system. Rather than spending your shift walking miles of warehouse aisles, you'll work with technology that brings stock directly to the operator, helping us pick orders more efficiently and accurately.
You don't need to be an IT expert or an automation engineer. You do need solid warehouse experience, a good head on your shoulders, and an interest in how technology can improve the way we work.
About BrandLink
BrandLink is an Australian-owned third-party logistics (3PL) provider delivering warehousing, distribution and fulfilment solutions for some of Australia's leading retail and consumer brands.
We're investing in smarter warehouse operations, combining experienced people, intelligent warehouse systems and automation to deliver outstanding accuracy, efficiency and service for our customers.
We're looking for people who want to do more than just turn up and move boxes — people who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a modern, evolving warehouse environment.
About the role
You'll play an important role in our automated picking operation, working with our Modula Goods-to-Person system to fulfil customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating our Modula automated storage and retrieval system to pick customer orders.
Using warehouse management systems, RF scanners and digital picking interfaces.
Picking, checking and packing orders to meet accuracy and productivity targets.
Monitoring stock presentation and system prompts, identifying discrepancies and escalating issues when required.
Following established processes to maintain inventory accuracy and order integrity.
Supporting replenishment, dispatch and general warehouse activities as required.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area.
Working collaboratively with the wider warehouse team to keep operations running smoothly.
What we're looking for
We're interested in people who have experience in warehousing and a genuine interest in working with automation.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Previous warehouse experience — experience in a busy distribution centre or 3PL environment is highly regarded.
An interest in automation and technology — you enjoy learning new equipment, systems and ways of working.
Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters when dealing with stock, barcodes and customer orders.
Positive computer and scanning skills — confidence using RF scanners, warehouse systems or digital interfaces.
A practical,
problem-solving mindset — you can follow processes, think logically and recognise when something isn't right.
A reliable and proactive attitude — you turn up on time, take ownership and contribute to the team.
A commitment to safety — you understand the importance of following procedures around machinery and warehouse equipment.
Experience with automated picking systems, goods-to-person technology, vertical lift modules or other automated material-handling equipment would be a significant advantage, but we're happy to train the right person on our specific system.
A current forklift licence is an advantage but is not essential for the core role.
What we offer
Competitive casual rates of $35–$40 per hour, depending on experience and capability.
An afternoon-shift position in a modern warehouse environment.
Hands-on experience with genuine warehouse automation technology.
Training on our Modula system and warehouse processes.
The opportunity to develop valuable skills in automation-enabled warehousing.
A supportive team that values accuracy, safety and getting the job done right.
Potential for ongoing work and future opportunities as our operations grow.
Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Employee discounts across a range of well-known retailers.
Who should apply?
If you've worked in a warehouse, understand the importance of accuracy and efficiency, and are curious about how automation is changing the industry, we'd like to hear from you.
You might already have experience with automated equipment, or you might simply be the kind of operator who picks up new systems quickly and enjoys finding better ways to work.
