The Chance
A large, well-established global organisation based in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its finance team on an initial 6-month contract.

This is a broad commercial finance role supporting corporate functions across the business. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, providing financial insights, budgeting & forecasting, management reporting and commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance qualified looking to join a leading global organisation and gain exposure across both financial planning and commercial finance.

The Challenge
Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing monthly management reporting, financial analysis and commentary
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across corporate functions
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insights and support decision-making
- Developing financial models and business cases to assess investment opportunities and projects
- Monitoring financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting cost optimisation initiatives




- Overseeing month-end financial results and ensuring accurate treatment of operating and capital expenditure
- Driving improvements in financial reporting, processes and controls

The Expertise
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
- At least 4 years' experience across FP&A;, Finance Business Partnering or Management Accounting
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial modelling experience
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across a large, complex organisation
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills and the ability to translate financial information into meaningful insights
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Candidates on Working Holiday Visas are encouraged to apply
