- Collaborate with key stakeholders to support student development of scientific literacy, numeracy, and other STEM-related academic skills within the context of courses and units.

- Work collaboratively with Student Support Services and key stakeholders to understand the learning needs of students.
- Work within a culture of continuous improvement, taking a solution-focused approach to identifying issues and recommending improvements in consultation with the Manager.

What we’re looking for:

- A degree in Education, Mathematics, Statistics, Science, Engineering, Health Sciences or another relevant discipline
- Experience teaching or supporting students in a range of learning environments, including one-on-one, small and large classes, and both online and face-to-face settings.
- Demonstrated experience in providing STEM learning support, including numeracy development, quantitative reasoning, mathematics, statistics, and scientific literacy.
- Understanding of the needs of students from diverse educational, cultural and linguistic backgrounds, including neurodiverse learners and students returning to study.
- Successful experience in the planning, development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of learning services and programs.
- Excellent organisational and management skills, including the ability to use initiative, prioritise, solve problems, and meet deadlines
