About Amici Wine Bar & Deli

Amici Wine Bar & Deli is owned by Lala Hospitality Group - the team behind five of Canberra's most loved venues, including Molly, VICE, Highball and 88mph.

With an Italian heart, Amici brings together great wine, spritzes, food and deli favourites in a relaxed, welcoming setting. We’re looking for an experienced Venue Manager to take the lead, keep things running smoothly and help drive the venue forward.

THE ROLE

Our venues each have their own personality, but they share a high standard of service and a team that genuinely cares about what they do.

We’re looking for a Venue Manager who is prepared to take ownership, lead by example, keep their cool when it’s busy and put the guest experience at the heart of every decision.

You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of Amici, lead and develop the team, maintain high standards across service and operations, and look for opportunities to grow the business. We want someone who is confident, positive and full of ideas, with the commercial awareness to understand what makes a venue successful.

You’ll work closely with the owners to bring the vision for Amici to life. We’re looking for someone who can take initiative, make good decisions and contribute their own ideas, while working collaboratively to achieve the bigger picture.





What We’re Looking For

- Solid experience in venue, restaurant, bar or floor management.
- A natural leader who people actually want to work for.
- Great communication skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Someone who is confident and full of ideas, but also able to take direction and bring the vision for the venue to life.
- High standards across service, presentation and operations.
- An understanding of the commercial side of hospitality, including labour costs, stock control and sales performance.
- A genuine interest in food, wine and creating a excellent guest experience.
- Current RSA certification and a working knowledge of ACT liquor licensing requirements.
- Availability to work a roster that includes evenings and weekends.
